Here is some information for this week:

Spirit Week!

• Monday October 28^th:  Colour Craze (grade 7 wear yellow, grade 8 wear orange, grade 9 wear green, grade 10 wear purple, grade 11 wear red)
• Tuesday October 29^th: Halloween Kahoot
• Wednesday October 30^th: Jersey Day
• Thursday October 31^st: Halloween!
• Friday November 1^st: School swag/school colours

Teens and Screens

• I have attached a flyer from Connexions for a free upcoming webinar

Grade 9 Vaccines

• On November 12^th and 13^th our CISSSO nurse will be providing measles, rubella and diphtheria vaccines to students that need them
• I have attached a letter to this email with more information

Grade 11 Graduation Hoodies

• Attention grads, it is time to place your order for your grad hoodie
• This year there are two designs to choose from, one with signatures and one without
• Ms. Richardson in room 318 has sample hoodies for sizing and colour options as well as the mock-up of the design
• The hoodies are $50 each and must be paid in cash to Ms. Lisa Richardson by November 7^th

College, University and Trades Evening

• This event will take place at our school on November 7^th, 6pm-8pm
• There will be over 20 representatives/kiosks
• Please see the attached poster

D’Arcy McGee Midterms

• Please note that our formal midterm session for D’Arcy students is February 3^rd – 7^th, 2025
• Attendance during midterms and final exams is mandatory and as per the Ministry of Education Guidelines, only the following reasons for student absences will be accepted:

·         Illness or accident confirmed by a medical report or certificate

·         Death of a close relative

·         A court summons

·         Participation in a provincial or national event

• Regular classes will be running during the times when your child does not have an exam scheduled
