Youth Bowling League

• You can learn about upcoming tryout dates for sports as well as other great things happening at our school

Course Change Deadline – D’Arcy Only

• The deadline for students to request a course change is September 15^th
• Students should pick up a form in Student Services to request a change
• Please note that we are not able to accommodate all requests

School Fees

• School fees can now be viewed on the Parent Portal
• Online payments are preferred, and instructions can be found here:  https://symmesdarcy.westernquebec.ca/about/school-fees/
• You will need the statement of account open on the Parent Portal for the banking file number and the parent code
• Please note that the banking file number changes when your child transitions from Symmes to D’Arcy

• The Symmes-D’Arcy online clothing boutique is now open

• The boutique will close on September 14^th

Annual General Assembly (AGA)

• The AGA for Symmes parents will be in our auditorium on September 17^th at 6pm
• The AGA for D’Arcy parents will be in our auditorium on September 24^th at 6pm
• The purpose of the AGA is to inform parents of the structures and routines of school as well as to elect the parent representatives to our Governing Board
• I have attached information about Governing Boards to this email for your information – it’s a great way to get involved!
• At the AGA, we will also be taking names for potential spots on the WQSB Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC)
• Parents will also have an opportunity to meet their child’s teacher and tour the school
• Please note that I have attached a document advertising a virtual information session for parents on how to get involved in school and school board committees
