Unfortunately, water was discovered under the gymnasium floor this afternoon as a result of last week’s flood. For the remainder of the week, the gyms will all be closed for the necessary repair work. We are working on a stable relocation plan for these classes which will be communicated to our students once it is complete. Tomorrow, if your child has a Physical Education class, they are to report to the cafeteria at the beginning of the period. Their Phys. Ed teacher will greet them in the cafeteria and bring them to their new location. Whenever possible, Phys. Ed. classes will be held outside – please have your child dress appropriately for the weather.
This is an ongoing and evolving situation and it is possible that the gyms will be closed for a longer period of time. I will communicate any new information I receive with our community.
