Here is some information for this week:
Grade 11 Prom Information
- Please see the attached letter from the D’Arcy Prom Committee
Grade 11 Gradbook
- Please complete the following form which will close at midnight on September 26th:

- Depending on numbers, we are expecting Gradbooks to cost around $22
- We will contact parents who plan to purchase with payment procedures
- Please note, that you MUST indicate that you will be purchasing a Gradbook for your child to receive one
Grad 11 Grad Photos
- Graduation photos will take place between February 23rd – 26th, 2026
- Please note that the booking link is currently not working – mark your calendars with the dates and when the link is active again, I will inform parents

- You can learn about upcoming tryout dates for sports as well as other great things happening at our school
School Fees
- School fees can now be viewed on the Parent Portal
- Online payments are preferred, and instructions can be found here: https://symmesdarcy.westernquebec.ca/about/school-fees/
- You will need the statement of account open on the Parent Portal for the banking file number and the parent code
- Please note that the banking file number changes when your child transitions from Symmes to D’Arcy

Annual General Assembly (AGA)
- The AGA for D’Arcy parents will be in our auditorium on September 24th at 6pm
- The purpose of the AGA is to inform parents of the structures and routines of school as well as to elect the parent representatives to our Governing Board
- I have attached information about Governing Boards to this email for your information – it’s a great way to get involved!
- At the AGA, we will also be taking names for potential spots on the WQSB Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC)
- Parents will also have an opportunity to meet their child’s teacher and tour the school
- Prior to the AGA, please familiarize yourself with you how access your child’s timetable on the Parent Portal as this will be a paperless event
- The D’Arcy School Council will be hosting a bake sale during the AGA, please bring CASH and support your School Council!
