NTERSECTION CLOSURE FRIDAY and Symmes-D’Arcy McGee Update 5/23/24

Dear Families,

I hope you are doing well.

Due to the important message below regarding local construction,

Intersection Closure

• Beginning early this morning, the intersection at Vanier Road and Plateau Blvd will be completely impassable due to construction
• Traffic heading southbound on Vanier will be detoured through the Plateau area
• Traffic heading northbound on Vanier will be detoured through the commercial plaza
• If you are driving your child to school, expect delays in the morning and afternoon – we would recommend that you leave earlier than usual
• We are expecting that some buses will arrive late in the morning and may take longer arriving at your child’s drop-off location in the afternoon
• Please make sure you download the WQSB app so that you can receive transportation updates (instructions attached)
• This intersection is scheduled to re-open on Sunday morning

2024 Graduation Ceremony

• June 25^th, 2pm in our school Gymnasium
• Please note that each graduate can invite up to 4 guests
• These tickets can be picked up starting next week – grade 11 students can collect the tickets from our receptionist or parents can come to the school to collect them
• Class of 2024 lawn signs will be given to families following the ceremony

New York City!

• We are planning a trip to New York City for our senior students for October 17^th – 19^th, 2024
• Please see the attached poster and parent information letter for more information
