Parent Update – February 24th, 2023

Here is some information for this week:

Term 2 Reporting

• Report cards will be published to the parent portal on Tuesday February 28^th
• Parent-Teacher Interviews will be held on Thursday March 2^nd in the gymnasium, 5:30pm-8:30pm
• Symmes parents can sign up for interview timeslots by using this booking tool: https://outlook.office365.com/owa/calendar/SymmesDArcyMcGeeHighSchool@wqsb.qc.ca/bookings/
• D’Arcy parents should line up to meet with the teachers they would like to speak with

Virtual Tutoring

• Students who are currently unsuccessful in a core subject (English, French, Math) or a Ministry requirement (grade 10 History, grade 10 Science), can expect to receive information about free, virtual tutoring offered by our school staff shortly

Bill 96 Information Session

• The English Parents’ Committee Association (EPCA) in partnership with the QCGN invites you to a one-hour information session
• The focus of the session is: An Act Respecting French: The official and common language of Quebec and the impact that it will have on health and social services and the education system
• There will be a Q & A at the end of the presentation.

DART Information Hub

• The WQSB DART (Drug Awareness Resource Team) has created an information hub to boost your knowledge about inhaling substances (tobacco, vape, cannabis)

Narcan/Naloxone
