We are so proud of how hard our D’Arcy students worked to prepare for this year’s midterm session!

Black History Month

• Every February, people across Canada participate in Black History Month to honour the legacy of Black people in Canada and their communities
• The 2023 theme for Black History Month is: “Ours to Tell”
• This theme provides an opportunity to engage in open dialogue as well as a commitment to learning more about the stories Black communicates in Canada have to tell about their histories, successes, sacrifices and triumphs
• During our daily video announcements, students will listen to some of these stories

Upcoming Dates

• February 6^th & 7^th – PD Days – no school for students
• February 28^th – Term 2 Report Cards published to the parent portal
• March 2^nd – Parent-Teacher Interviews – 5:30pm – 8:30pm – gymnasium
• March 3^rd – PD Day – no school for students
• March 6^th – March 10^th – Break
